Your new school

This Bristol primary school is in search of a hard-working Teaching Assistant with experience working with EYFS children. Working five days a week, this role is fast-paced and challenging but rewarding, as you witness children learning and growing under your guidance. Located in BS30, the school is accessible via public transport and has a car park on site. In this role, you will work in various outstanding settings alongside your class teacher and school staff.

Your new role

As an EYFS Teaching Assistant in BS30, you will support the entire EYFS class during their initial learning stages. Your responsibilities include facilitating play-based learning, assisting with the development of children’s literacy and numeracy skills, and providing personal care such as toilet trips. The focus will be on helping children learn numbers and letters for the first time.

Requirements to succeed in your new role

1. Teaching Assistant experience within the last two years
2. Two recent references relevant to the position
3. Previous experience with EYFS children (desirable)
4. Enhanced DBS on the update service (can be arranged through us at Hays)
