Job summary

Qualifications

• A Level 2 or Level 3 Childcare, Early Years or Teaching Assistant qualification (preferred).
• Experience working within a Nursery, Pre-Schools, Childcare or EYFS school setting.
• A good understanding of the EYFS Framework.
• Experience supporting children's communication, language and social development.
• A nurturing, patient and enthusiastic approach.
• The ability to build positive relationships with children, staff and parents.

Responsibilities

• Supporting children within Nursery or Reception.
• Delivering engaging play-based learning activities.
• Encouraging communication, language and social skills development.
• Supporting children's emotional wellbeing and independence.
• Assisting with observations and assessments.
• Helping to create a safe, stimulating and inclusive learning environment.
• Working closely with the class teacher and wider EYFS team.

Education

Level 2/3 Childcare, Early Years or Teaching Assistant qualification (preferred)
