Vision for Education Ltd is currently recruiting an EYFS Teaching Assistant to join a primary school in South Shields (NE34) on a full-time, temporary basis from December 2026 to April 2027. The role involves supporting Nursery and Reception pupils, assisting with activities and supervising learning across the early years, with some personal care as needed.

You will work as part of a supportive team, deliver high-quality support, and help children with SEND to access learning.

£460 - £500 per week (salary is depending on experience and/or qualifications)

December 2026 - April 2027

The School and Role

Vision for Education is recruiting a motivated and driven EYFS Teaching Assistant to work on a full-time basis at a school in South Shields (NE34) from December 2026. The EYFS Teaching Assistant appointed for this role will be based across Nursery and Reception as required, supporting a range of children and working alongside a team of dedicated and experienced professionals. There may be elements of personal care required for this role. This is a school where children are enabled to reach their full potential, and which creates an atmosphere of respect.
