Job summary

Aspire People is recruiting a full-time Early Years Teaching Assistant to support a nursery/reception class in Derby (Normanton). The role involves assisting pupils, working five days a week, and providing personal care where needed.

As an agency TA, you will uphold the standards of a permanent staff member. The candidate should have EYFS curriculum knowledge and at least Level 2 Childcare (or equivalent) for ratio purposes, with a focus on regular pupil assessments and engagement in learning

Qualifications

• EYFS curriculum knowledge is required.
• Regular assessments of pupils to monitor progress.
• Ability to engage pupils through learning activities.
• Confident in providing personal care when required.

Responsibilities

• Support a nursery or reception class full time.
• Work across nursery and reception settings.
• Adhere to safeguarding and school policies.
