The Position - EYFS Teaching Assistant

A welcoming 2-form entry primary school in Southwark is seeking a passionate and proactive EYFS Teaching Assistant to join their Reception team as soon as possible.You will be working within a Reception class as part of the school's wider EYFS provision, supporting children with their learning, development and day-to-day activities.The successful EYFS Teaching Assistant will work closely with the class teacher and wider EYFS team to create a nurturing, engaging and positive learning environment. You will provide support both individually and in small groups, helping children develop their communication, social skills, confidence, independence and early learning skills.The school is looking for someone who has a genuine interest in working within EYFS and a passion for helping young children thrive. You will need to be proactive, enthusiastic, patient and caring, with the ability to build strong relationships with children and support them throughout their early years journey.
