Job summary

Trust Education is recruiting an EYFS Teaching Assistant for a friendly primary school in the WF10 area. This part-time, ongoing role starts in November 2026 to support a nurturing EYFS team.

You will assist the class teacher, work with small groups and individuals, and help prepare resources. A patient, caring attitude and strong teamwork are essential, with TA qualification desirable but not required.

Qualifications

• Experience in an EYFS setting.
• Knowledge of Read Write Inc.
• Patient, caring and passionate attitude.
• Reliable and supportive team player with good communication.

Responsibilities

The Role:

• Supporting the class teacher in delivering engaging and effective lessons
• Working with small groups and individual pupils to strengthen learning
• Helping to maintain an organised classroom and prepare resources for lessons
• Provide support for pupils with a range of needs
• Helping to maintain a positive, safe, and inclusive learning environment

The Ideal Candidate will:

• Be experienced within an EYFS setting
• Knowledge with Read, Write, Ink
• Display a patient, caring and passionate attitude
• Be reliable, supportive and able to work successfully as part of a team
• Strong communication and teamwork skills
• Hold a relevant Teaching Assistant qualification (desirable but not essential)
