Job summary

Welton Primary School within East Riding of Yorkshire Council is seeking a talented, highly skilled and energetic individual to join our supportive staff team as soon as possible.

This part-time role is 35 hours per week, term-time only plus 5 training days, with work hours 8:30am to 3:45pm and one evening until 5pm.

Experience in an early year’s setting is essential; the successful candidate must demonstrate commitment to inclusion and high expectations for vulnerable pupils.

Welton Primary School is a friendly and vibrant community. We are seeking a talented, highly skilled and an energetic individual to join our team of exceptional support staff team as soon as possible.

A strong skill set is important but being a champion and advocate for real inclusion, high expectations and believing in the potential of all children is essential for this role. We are looking for people who want to make a difference to the most vulnerable children and enjoy working with young people who need the highest expectations to enable them to be independent and successful. Experience of working in an early year’s setting is essential.

The vacancy is part-time, Monday to Friday (35 hours per week). Term time only plus 5 training days over the academic year. You will be required to work from 8:30am to 3:45pm, plus one evening until 5pm.

The successful candidate must:
