Level 3 EYFS Teaching Assistant

Are you a Level 3 qualified Early Years professional eager to bring your skills to a primary school environment? Monarch Education is partnering with a wonderful primary school in Dursley to find a dedicated EYFS Teaching Assistant.

This is a full-time role, Monday to Friday, 8:30 AM - 3:30 PM, running for the remainder of the academic year (until July 2026). You'll be a vital part of the team, and please note that personal care duties will be required.

If you hold a minimum Level 3 qualification in Early Years or Childcare, we'd love to hear from you!

Requirements of applicant:

  • You must hold a Level 3 Qualification in Childcare or Early Years
  • You must have experience supporting children of EYFS age
  • Knowledge of the EYFS National Curriculums
  • Comfortable providing personal care to pupils where required

Main Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Provide tailored support to children in the setting's Nursery
  • Motivated pupils when learning through a range of educational activities
  • Support the social, emotional and cognitive development of all children in your care
  • Apply positive behaviour management techniques at all times
  • Promote an environment of acceptance and inclusion for all pupils in your care
