Job summary

The Education Network are working with a school in Spennymoor who are looking to employ a Teaching Assistant with a background in working with children in EYFS.

You will have recent experience supporting children in Early Years/KS1, in a School, Nursery or care setting, and ideally a Level 2+ childcare qualification. The Education Network offers ongoing supply assignments across Durham with safeguarding checks including enhanced DBS.

The successful candidate must have recent experience of supporting children in Early Years/KS1. This can be in a School, Nursery or care environment.

Ideally you should have a relevant qualification (Level 2 or above) in the child care sector but this may not be a necessity depending on your experience.

Our Durham office works specifically with schools across Durham and as well as this position the Education network have a number of day to day and long term supply assignments.
