Job summary

The Education Network is seeking an Teaching Assistant with a background in Early Years to support children in EYFS/KS1 in a Crook area school. You may work in a School, Nursery or care setting and will help with activities, supervision and safeguarding.

Level 2+ Childcare qualification is preferred but not always required depending on experience. DBS checks and safeguarding compliance are mandatory.

  • DBS check and safeguarding compliance will be required.

Job description

The Education Network are working with a school in Crook who are looking to employ a Teaching Assistant with a background in working with children in EYFS.

The successful candidate must have recent experience of supporting children in Early Years/KS1. This can be in a School, Nursery or care environment.

Ideally you should have a relevant qualification (Level 2 or above) in the child care sector but this may not be a necessity depending on your experience.

Our Durham office works specifically with schools across Durham and as well as this position the Education network have a number of day to day and long term supply assignments.
