ECT Teachers for in and around Durham

The Education Network Durham are looking for ECT Teachers to register with ourselves. We have long‑term jobs for September 2026 already. Working with Education Network is a great way to commence/continue/complete your Early Career Teacher Induction, as we always encourage schools to put you through your induction period when starting any long‑term position.

We also have a guaranteed pay scheme we are offering to candidates.

Working on a supply basis is a great way to gain further insight and experience in schools and, ultimately, helps to build your confidence as a teacher and develop those all‑important teaching and behaviour strategies. It can also help you to determine which schools are right for you, both as a person and as a newly qualified teacher.

The ideal candidate should have:

• Relevant Teaching Degree with QTS
• Two relevant satisfactory references (to cover the last 2 years, including final teaching placement)
• Satisfactory enhanced DBS check
• Be committed to the continued success of both the pupils and the school.

The Education Network Durham are also recruiting for full time and part time teaching positions (experienced teachers included) across the North East so we can be as flexible as you require, whether you are looking for short term work to work around other commitments or long term full time positions, we have something for everyone!
