Job summary

Teaching Personnel in Leyland is seeking an EYFS Teaching Assistant to join a mainstream primary school for the academic year.

You will support early learning, phonics and language development, and help children build confidence and independence within an inclusive classroom.

Qualifications

• Experience working with children in an educational or childcare setting.
• Understanding of EYFS practices is beneficial.
• Ability to build positive relationships with pupils and colleagues.
• Enthusiastic and professional approach.
• Enhanced DBS on the Update Service or willingness to obtain one.
• Level 3 Early Years Qualification desirable but not essential.

Pay Rate: £14.25 - £16.00 per hour

An exciting opportunity has arisen for a dedicated EYFS Teaching Assistant to join a thriving mainstream primary school in Leyland for the academic year.

Working within the Early Years Foundation Stage, you will play a key role in supporting children as they begin their educational journey, helping them develop academically, socially, and emotionally.

Candidates with a Level 3 Early Years Qualification are encouraged to apply, although this is not essential.
