Job summary

Aspire People is recruiting an EYFS Teaching Assistant in Leeds for a full-time, term-time only role starting ASAP for the full academic year.

The ideal candidate will have an EYFS degree (or equivalent experience/qualifications), experience in Early Years settings, and a SEN background is advantageous. You will support children’s social, emotional, and developmental needs within a thriving EYFS department.

Qualifications

• Experience working with Early Years in a classroom setting.
• SEN experience would be advantageous for supporting diverse needs.
• Strong knowledge of the EYFS and KS1 curriculum.
• Ability to support children socially, emotionally and developmentally.

Responsibilities

• Support young children socially and emotionally in a mainstream primary school.
• Assist development and learning in EYFS and KS1 areas.
• Contribute to a positive, inclusive classroom environment.
