Job summary

Aspire People are recruiting for an Early Years Teaching Assistant to support a nursery/reception in Derby (Normanton). This full-time role starts ASAP and runs 5 days a week, with responsibilities including personal care and regular pupil assessments.

We are seeking a Level 2/3 Childcare Practitioner or TA with strong EYFS knowledge who can engage pupils and maintain the standards of a permanent member of staff. Our Derby team is available 24/7 for support.

Qualifications

• Strong EYFS curriculum knowledge.
• Minimum Level 2 Childcare (or equivalent).

Are you a Teaching Assistant looking for a new full time role supporting pupils in a nursery class?

I am currently recruiting for a Level 2/3 Childcare Practitioner or Teaching Assistant to support a whole nursery or reception class in Derby (Normanton). Starting a long‑term position from ASAP. You will be working 5 days a week and will be expected to be comfortable with personal care.

Aspire people have worked with this school for a while and feedback is always positive from staff.

As an agency employed TA, the schools will expect you to maintain the standards of a permanent member of staff so the following is expected:

• Strong EYFS curriculum knowledge.
• Minimum Level 2 Childcare (or equivalent) qualification for ratio purposes.
• Regular assessments of pupils.
• Able to engage in learning activities.
• Confident with personal care
