Job summary

REESON Education is seeking an EYFS Teaching Assistant in Lambeth to support Nursery and Reception pupils with early learning skills. Start date November 2026, full-time long-term contract.

You will work alongside the class teacher, providing one-to-one and small-group support, including for children with additional needs, while assisting with phonics and early numeracy activities. The role emphasizes nurturing and positive development in a stimulating environment.

Position: EYFS Teaching Assistant

Salary: £95 - £115 per day

Contract: Full-time, Long-term

Start Date: November 2026

EYFS Teaching Assistant - Role Overview:

What We're Looking For:

• Experience working as an EYFS Teaching Assistant, Nursery Assistant, or similar role.
• A Level 2 or Level 3 Early Years qualification (desirable but not essential).
• Understanding of EYFS curriculum and child development strategies.
• A nurturing, patient, and positive approach to supporting children.
• An Enhanced DBS check (or willingness to obtain one).
