Job summary

REESON Education is seeking an enthusiastic EYFS Teaching Assistant to support Nursery and Reception pupils in a Lambeth primary school. You will work with the class teacher to enhance early years learning and participate in phonics and play-based activities.

The role offers a full-time, long-term position starting November 2026, with a daily rate of £95-£115. The school provides a welcoming environment and strong EYFS resources, with opportunities for training and progression.

Qualifications

• Experience as EYFS Teaching Assistant or Nursery Assistant.
• Level 2 or Level 3 Early Years qualification (desirable).
• Understanding of EYFS curriculum and child development.
• Enhanced DBS check (or willingness to obtain one).

Responsibilities

• Support children in Nursery and Reception, helping develop key early learning skills.
• Work closely with the class teacher to create an engaging learning environment.
• Provide one-to-one and small-group support, particularly for children with additional needs.
• Assist in phonics, early numeracy, and play-based learning activities.
• Encourage social, emotional, and academic development in young learners.
