Academics is recruiting an EYFS Teaching Assistant for a primary school in Barking & Dagenham. You will support both Nursery and Reception, helping children develop communication, confidence, independence and social skills in a nurturing environment.

The role offers a long-term contract until July 2027, with daily pay between £93 and £120 and an ASAP start. You will work with a dedicated education consultant for ongoing support.

Qualifications

• Previous experience working within an Early Years setting.

Academics are currently recruiting for an enthusiastic and adaptable EYFS Teaching Assistant to join a primary school in Barking & Dagenham. This is a fantastic opportunity for someone who enjoys supporting young children and wants to play an important role in their early educational development.

The successful candidate will be working across both Nursery and Reception, so flexibility and confidence in supporting children at different stages of the Early Years Foundation Stage are essential.

About the Role

As an EYFS Teaching Assistant in Barking & Dagenham, you will help create a positive, engaging and nurturing environment where children can learn through play, exploration and structured activities.

Your responsibilities will be split between Nursery and Reception, supporting classroom routines, assisting with learning activities and helping children develop their communication, confidence, independence and social skills.

This role would be ideal for someone who is flexible, proactive and able to respond positively to the changing needs of both age groups.
