Job summary

Protocol Education is seeking a passionate Early Years Teacher for a welcoming primary school in Upminster. The role supports children at the start of their educational journey within the EYFS framework.

Qualifications

• QTS required and evidenced by qualified status.
• Experience delivering lessons in EYFS or Early Years settings.
• Strong understanding of the EYFS framework.
• Excellent classroom management and communication skills.
• Creative, child-centred approach to teaching.
• Commitment to safeguarding and promoting welfare of children.
• Enhanced DBS check or willing to obtain one.

Responsibilities

• Plan and deliver engaging lessons in line with the EYFS Framework.
• Create a safe, inclusive, and stimulating classroom environment.
• Support children's academic, social, emotional, and physical development.
• Assess, monitor, and record pupil progress.
• Build strong relationships with parents and carers to support learning at home.
• Deliver high-quality indoor and outdoor learning experiences.
• Promote children's independence, confidence, and curiosity.
• Work collaboratively with colleagues and support staff.
• Maintain high standards of behaviour and safeguarding.
