Qualifications

• QTS is required.
• Experience teaching in EYFS.
• Knowledge of the EYFS framework and development.
• Strong planning and assessment skills.

Responsibilities

• Plan and deliver engaging, age-appropriate learning activities in line with the EYFS framework.
• Support children’s communication, language, physical development, early literacy and numeracy.
• Use play-based learning and structured activities to encourage curiosity, independence and confidence.
• Observe, assess and record children’s progress, informing future planning.
• Establish positive routines and create a safe, inclusive and stimulating learning environment.
• Work with colleagues and teaching assistants to support individual learning needs.
• Build positive relationships with parents and carers to support wellbeing and development.
• Follow safeguarding procedures and ensure children’s safety.
