Qualifications

• Experience in EYFS or early years settings.
• Strong understanding of the EYFS framework and child development.
• Excellent classroom management and organisational skills.
• Nurturing, creative and engaging teaching style.

Responsibilities

• Planning and delivering engaging, age-appropriate activities in line with the EYFS framework.
• Supporting children’s development in communication, language, literacy, numeracy and personal, social and emotional development.
• Creating a safe, inclusive and stimulating learning environment.
• Observing, assessing and tracking children’s progress in line with EYFS standards.
• Supporting children with varying abilities, including those with SEN.
• Encouraging curiosity, independence and confidence through play-based learning.
• Building strong relationships with parents, carers and colleagues.
• Working collaboratively with teaching assistants and the wider school team.
