Job summary

Vision for Education is seeking an experienced EYFS Teacher to work full-time at a primary school in South Shields (NE33) from October 2026. The role covers a planned absence in the Reception class, with some pupils having additional needs and a skilled EYFS team to collaborate with.

The position is temporary until Christmas, with excellent PAYE rates, a guaranteed pay scheme (subject to availability), CPD opportunities, pension contributions and support from a dedicated education consultant.

EYFS Teacher (Full-time, Temporary)

South Shields, NE33

£600 - £1162 per week (salary is depending on experience and/or qualifications)

October 2026 - December 2026

The School and Role

Vision for Education is seeking to appoint an experienced EYFS Teacher to work on a full-time basis at a Primary School in South Shields (NE33) from October 2026. The EYFS Teacher appointed for the role will be covering a planned absence in the Reception class at school, where some pupils have additional needs. There is also a skilled team of support staff in the EYFS unit, who will need to be effectively directed. The role is full-time, and will run until Christmas. This is a 'Good' school, where staff are committed to giving all children the best start to their education.

Requirements

The desired EYFS Teacher will have;

• Experience of working with primary school aged children
• Experience of working with pupils with SEND
• A passion for the progress of primary school pupils
• An ability to work as part of a team
