Axcis Education Recruitment are recruiting an EYFS Teacher (QTS) for a West Molesey Primary School in Surrey. The role is part‑time, long‑term supply, working every Monday during term time from 7:45 am to 4:30 pm, starting 1st September 2026.

You will lead a Nursery class, deliver play‑based learning, and support inclusive practice within the EYFS framework. The school offers steady classroom support, opportunities to build relationships with children and families, and no marking requirements.

EYFS Teacher (QTS) - Part‑Time Teaching Job - West Molesey

Location: West Molesey, Surrey. Start Date: 1st September 2026. Job Type: Part‑Time, Long‑Term Supply. Working Pattern: Every Monday, Term Time Only (scope to do extra days if desired). Working Hours: 7:45 am to 4:30 pm. Salary: Paid to scale, dependent on experience.

We are recruiting for a passionate and experienced EYFS Teacher to join a supportive Primary School in West Molesey, Surrey, working within the EYFS Nursery provision every Monday throughout the full academic year.

This is an excellent opportunity for a qualified teacher with a strong Early Years background to become part of a welcoming school community and make a lasting impact on children’s early learning and development. The role offers consistency, excellent classroom support, and the opportunity to build positive relationships with children, families, and colleagues across the academic year. The successful candidate will attend the school’s INSET Day on the 1st September to support a smooth transition into the role and become fully integrated within the Early Years team.

Role

As the EYFS Teacher, you will lead a well‑supported Nursery class within the Primary School’s Early Years provision, delivering high‑quality teaching and learning in line with the Early Years Foundation Stage (EYFS) Framework. You’ll create engaging, play‑based learning opportunities that promote children’s social, emotional, physical and academic development, while maintaining a nurturing, inclusive and stimulating learning environment. There is no marking requirement associated with this role.

Nursery provision within a Primary School. Children aged 3 to 5 years. Approximately 26 children currently on roll, with numbers expected to increase. Supported by three experienced members of support staff. Inclusive learning environment with a range of needs and abilities. One child currently has high‑level SEN needs and is non‑verbal, supported by a dedicated 1:1 Teaching Assistant. Nappy changing responsibilities form part of the role.

Key Responsibilities
  • Deliver engaging and age‑appropriate learning experiences in line with the EYFS curriculum.
  • Create a safe, nurturing and stimulating classroom environment.
  • Support children’s learning through structured teaching and child‑initiated play.
  • Assess and monitor children’s progress and development.
  • Promote positive behaviour and emotional wellbeing.
  • Work collaboratively with support staff, school leaders and parents.
  • Support the school’s inclusive approach to education and child development.
Essential Requirements
  • Qualified Teacher Status (QTS).
  • Previous experience teaching within an EYFS or Nursery setting.
  • Strong knowledge of the Early Years Foundation Stage (EYFS) framework.
  • Experience supporting children’s learning through play‑based approaches.
  • Excellent classroom management and organisational skills.
  • Strong understanding of child development and early learning.
  • Ability to work effectively as part of a wider Early Years team.
Desirable Requirements
  • Experience teaching within a Primary School Nursery.
  • Experience supporting children with Special Educational Needs (SEN).
  • Patient, caring and nurturing approach.
  • Passion for Early Years education.
  • Positive and enthusiastic attitude.
