Job summary

TeacherActive is working with a specialist SEND school in Gloucestershire to appoint a full-time EYFS Teacher from September until December. The role involves delivering engaging and differentiated lessons for pupils with SLD and PMLD, coordinating with support staff and the multidisciplinary team.

You must hold QTS, have EYFS experience (preferably SEND), and a current Enhanced DBS. The school offers a nurturing environment and market leading PAYE rates, with 24/7 consultant support.

Qualifications

• QTS is required.
• Experience teaching within EYFS, ideally in a SEND setting.
• Experience supporting children with SLD, PMLD or other complex needs.
• Strong classroom management and the ability to adapt learning to individual needs.
• Enhanced DBS check on the Update Service (essential).
• Ability to provide satisfactory professional references.

Responsibilities

The school is looking to appoint a full-time EYFS Teacher from September until December. The successful EYFS Teacher will be responsible for delivering engaging and differentiated lessons for pupils with SLD and PMLD, creating a positive classroom environment while working closely with experienced support staff and the wider multidisciplinary team to meet each child's individual needs.

The successful EYFS Teacher will have:

QTS

Experience teaching within EYFS, ideally in a SEND setting

Experience supporting children with SLD, PMLD or other complex additional needs

Strong classroom management and the ability to adapt learning to individual needs

A current Enhanced DBS on the Update Service (essential)

The ability to provide satisfactory professional references
