Job summary

Prospero Teaching is seeking a Reception (EYFS) Teacher for a primary school in Camden, NW5. The role is a temporary contract starting January 2027, full-time, 8:30–16:00, term-time. Open to NQT and experienced teachers with potential for contract extension or a permanent position based on performance.

Requirements include QTS or equivalent, at least 1 year EYFS UK experience, safeguarding training within the last year, and eligibility to work in the UK with an enhanced DBS. Daily rate is £170.

The school is a popular mainstream Primary School with a supportive senior leadership team. The school is going from strength to strength and providing training to all staff.

The position is open to both NQT's and experienced teachers. Depending on performance the school would look at either extending the contract or offering a permanent position.

EXPERIENCE, TRAINING AND QUALIFICATIONS

• QTS or equivalent


• Minimum 1 year EYFS teaching experience in the UK


• Up to date Safeguarding training issued in the last year

TO BE ELIGIBLE FOR THIS ROLE THROUGH PROSPERO TEACHING, YOU MUST:

• Hold Right to Work in the UK


• Hold an enhanced child barred list DBS certificate registered with the online update service or be willing to process a new application


• Provide two professional child related references that cover at least the last two years
