Job summary

Empowering Learning Ltd in Darlington is seeking an EYFS Qualified Teaching Assistant to support children in their early years. You will work with practitioners to deliver play-based activities and monitor development while promoting a safe, nurturing environment.

The role requires Level 2/3 EYFS qualification, DBS updates, and strong communication with families. This temporary/contract position offers £93-£110 per day, paid weekly via PAYE, with ongoing training opportunities.

Qualifications

• Level 2 or Level 3 Early Years / Childcare qualification is ESSENTIAL.
• Experience in nursery, pre-school or Reception setting.
• Understanding of EYFS framework and child development.

Responsibilities

• Support practitioners and teachers in delivering high-quality early years education and care.
• Plan and deliver fun, engaging play-based activities.
• Observe and record children's progress in line with EYFS.
