EYFS SEND Teaching Assistant – St Albans

Are you a passionate and nurturing Teaching Assistant with experience supporting children with SEND? We are looking for a dedicated EYFS SEND Teaching Assistant to join a welcoming primary school in St Albans.

This is a fantastic opportunity for someone who is passionate about helping young children thrive and who understands the importance of creating a safe, inclusive and engaging learning environment.

The role:
  • Supporting a child/children with additional needs within an EYFS setting
  • Providing targeted 1:1 and small-group support
  • Helping children develop their communication, social and emotional skills
  • Working closely with the class teacher and SENDCo to deliver individualised support
  • Supporting children's learning, independence and confidence
  • Contributing to a positive and nurturing classroom environment
We're looking for someone who:
  • Has previous experience working with children with SEND, ideally within EYFS
  • Is patient, caring and highly nurturing
  • Has excellent communication and teamwork skills
  • Can build strong relationships with children and staff
  • Is proactive, adaptable and committed to helping every child achieve their potential
