Job summary

Roche Community Primary School, part of Truro and Penwith Academy Trust, is seeking an enthusiastic Reception Class Teacher to join our thriving school. The role focuses on delivering high-quality early years education and supporting a smooth transition into Year 1.

You will work closely with families, nurseries and SENDCo to tailor learning to each child’s needs, delivering a strong EYFS curriculum through a mix of direct teaching and provision both indoors and outdoors.

Qualifications

• EYFS experience and training.
• Strong understanding of child development and the Early Years Foundation Stage.

Responsibilities

• Build and maintain strong relationships with local nurseries, pre-schools and families to support smooth transitions into school.
• Support transition from Reception to Year 1 with continuity in learning and wellbeing.
• Create a nurturing, stimulating and inclusive learning environment both indoors and outdoors.
