Job summary

Aspire People is seeking caring and reliable EYFS Practitioners to support children across nursery and Reception settings in Manchester and surrounding areas. You will help deliver play-based activities and support communication, language, and early literacy in a safe, stimulating environment.

Ideal candidates will have UK-based early years experience, be patient and proactive, and work well with teachers and staff while upholding safeguarding standards.

Qualifications

• Has recent UK-based school or early years setting experience within the last two years.
• Experience working with nursery or Reception-aged children.
• Committed to safeguarding and promoting children’s welfare.

Responsibilities

• Support children across Nursery and Reception.
• Deliver engaging, age-appropriate play-based activities.
• Encourage communication, language development and early literacy.
• Support Maths through practical activities and exploration.
• Promote social interaction, sharing and positive relationships.
• Help children develop independence with routines and tasks.
• Support observations and contribute to assessments of development.
• Maintain a safe, welcoming and inclusive learning environment.
• Assist children with additional needs to participate in activities.
• Collaborate with teachers, practitioners and other support staff.
• Follow safeguarding, health and safety and setting procedures.
