Job summary

The Royal Marsden NHS Foundation Trust is seeking an experienced Nursery Practitioner for Play House Day Nursery. The post is Band 2, 37.5 hours per week, based at Sutton, Surrey.

We require a reliable, flexible team member with Level 3 in Childcare and Education and GCSE English at grade A-C. The role involves caring for staff children, collaborating with colleagues, and delivering high-quality early years education under EYFS/OFSTED guidelines.

Qualifications

• Experience communicating effectively both verbally and in written form.
• Experience working with staff in full day care.
• Ability to plan and implement activities suitable for EYFS development.

Responsibilities

• Work in partnership with team members, providing support in all nursery areas.
• Provide excellent care and education to children within the area of work.
• Plan and implement activities/experiences using the EYFS curriculum and OFSTED guidelines.
• Maintain awareness of individual/group needs and development of children.
• Establish positive relationships with parent/carers, children, staff and professionals.
