Job summary

Keep Education is seeking a caring and enthusiastic Nursery Nurse to join a warm early years setting in St Albans. You will support young children with learning and development within the EYFS framework, planning engaging activities and ensuring a safe, inclusive environment.

The role suits both newly qualified and experienced nursery staff, with opportunities to monitor progress, build strong relationships with families, and contribute to daily routines, safeguarding, and wellbeing.

Qualifications

• Experience in a nursery or early years setting.
• Knowledge of the EYFS framework.
• Experience supporting children aged 0–5 years – desirable.
• Suitable for both newly qualified and experienced Nursery Nurses.

Responsibilities

• Support the learning and development of children in line with the EYFS framework.
• Plan and deliver age-appropriate activities.
• Ensure a safe, secure, and inclusive environment for all children.
• Monitor and record children’s progress and development.
• Build positive relationships with children, parents, and colleagues.
• Assist with daily routines, including meals, hygiene, and playtime.
• Follow safeguarding and health & safety procedures.
