Job summary

About the role

A welcoming nursery in St Albans is looking for a caring and enthusiastic Nursery Practitioner to join its Early Years team. You will support children aged 0-5 with their learning, development and wellbeing, helping to create a safe, positive and stimulating environment.

Key responsibilities
  • Support children's learning through play and age-appropriate activities.
  • Follow the EYFS framework and support children's development.
  • Build positive relationships with children, parents and colleagues.

The ideal candidate
  • Has a Level 2 or Level 3 Early Years/Childcare qualification.
  • Has previous nursery or Early Years experience.
  • Is caring, patient and enthusiastic.
  • Has a good understanding of safeguarding and the EYFS.
  • Is reliable and able to work effectively as part of a team.

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
