Job summary

Tradewind Recruitment are seeking a Level 3 qualified Early Years Teaching Assistant to join a welcoming Primary School in the Preston area, supporting their exciting new nursery provision.

This ongoing role starts in October, with the opportunity to become an integral part of the school’s Early Years provision. You will work with the class teacher to create a safe, nurturing learning environment and support children\'s development within the EYFS framework.

Qualifications

• Level 3 Early Years qualification or equivalent is essential.
• Good understanding of the EYFS framework and early years development.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills for working with children, families and staff.
• Enhanced DBS on the Update Service and right to work in the UK.

Responsibilities

• Support delivery of high-quality learning experiences within the nursery setting.
• Work closely with the class teacher to support children\'s learning and development.
• Provide engaging, age-appropriate activities based on the EYFS framework.
• Support children\'s personal, social and emotional development.
• Encourage communication, language and early literacy skills.
• Support physical development and independence.
• Observe, assess and record progress, contributing to the nursery\'s development.
