About Early Years Ltd. in Preston is seeking a Level 3 qualified EYFS Teaching Assistant to support their new nursery provision within a welcoming primary school. You will work alongside the class teacher to provide a safe, nurturing environment and quality learning experiences. The role is ongoing, starting in October, with opportunity to become an integral part of the Early Years team. A Level 3 EYFS qualification and DBS are essential.
Qualifications
Level 3 Early Years qualification or equivalent is essential.
Experience in Early Years or nursery setting is required.
Solid understanding of the EYFS framework.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
DBS check (Enhanced) on Update Service and right to work in the UK.
Responsibilities
Support the delivery of high-quality learning experiences within the nursery setting.
Work closely with the class teacher to support children’s learning and development.
Provide engaging, age-appropriate activities based on the EYFS framework.
Support children’s personal, social, and emotional development; physical development.
Observe, assess, and record children's progress; adapt activities as needed.
Create a safe, inclusive, and stimulating learning environment.
Build positive relationships with children, parents, and colleagues.
Support children who may have additional needs or SEND.
