Job summary

Supply Desk is recruiting an EYFS Learning Support Assistant to work in a HP11 primary school setting. This full-time role starts ASAP/september and offers a long-term opportunity within a nurturing school environment.

You will work with teachers to support pupils learning, deliver targeted interventions, and help create an inclusive learning atmosphere. The role suits a patient and proactive individual passionate about child development.

Qualifications

• Previous experience working with children (school-based desirable).
• Patient, supportive and positive approach.

Responsibilities

• Support pupils learning in the classroom, 1:1 and in small groups.
• Assist the class teacher with lesson delivery and resources.
• Provide targeted support for pupils with SEN.
• Encourage pupils' confidence, independence and engagement.
• Support pupils' social, emotional and behavioural development.
• Help maintain a safe, inclusive learning environment.
• Monitor and report pupil progress to the class teacher.
• Collaborate with teachers, staff and external professionals.
