Job summary

Foljambe Primary School in Rotherham seeks an inspiring EYFS Lead to drive high standards in Early Years. You will shape vision, curriculum design and assessment across EYFS while modelling exceptional practice and mentoring staff.

You will build strong partnerships with families, support safeguarding, inclusion and wellbeing, and lead collaborative, school-wide development within a trusted trust network.

Qualifications

• Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) and a relevant degree.
• Proven track record of outstanding EYFS teaching and leadership.
• Strong knowledge of the EYFS framework and assessment methods.
• Strategic thinker with excellent communication and inclusive leadership skills.

Responsibilities

• Drive the vision, quality of education and continuous improvement for EYFS.
• Oversee planning and delivery of a play-based EYFS curriculum.
• Lead on tracking pupil progress and reporting to SLT.
• Mentor EYFS teachers and support staff.
• Safeguarding and wellbeing across the unit.
• Collaborate with SENCO to support EHCPs and inclusion.
• Engage families and external partners; support professional development.
