Job summary

Emmaus Catholic Academy Trust seeks an outstanding EYFS Lead to develop leadership and management within the early years at St Kentigern's RC Primary School, Manchester. The post commences January 2027 and focuses on teaching, learning and assessment across the EYFS team.

The successful candidate will demonstrate excellent knowledge of phonics and EYFS curriculum, with experience in data tracking and analysis to support school improvement and student outcomes.

Qualifications

• Experience leading early years teams and implementing phonics delivery.
• Strong understanding of the EYFS curriculum and assessment.
• Ability to track and analyse EYFS data to inform teaching and learning.

Responsibilities

• Lead the EYFS team comprising 2 nursery and 2 reception classes.
• Develop Teaching, Learning and Assessment across EYFS and contribute to school leadership.
• Drive high standards of learning, behaviour and safeguarding in accordance with Catholic ethos.
