Job summary

Education Matters Group is seeking an experienced EYFS Class Teacher for a long-term role at a primary school in West Molesey. The successful candidate will bring a strong understanding of early childhood education and a passion for helping young learners build foundational skills.

You will deliver engaging, creative lessons, support early literacy and numeracy, and monitor progress through observations. DBS on the Update Service or willingness to obtain one is expected.

Qualifications

• QTS is required.
• Experience teaching in Nursery classes.
• Strong knowledge of the EYFS framework.
• Ability to manage a classroom and adapt teaching to individual needs.

Responsibilities

• Deliver engaging lessons and activities that encourage curiosity and creativity.
• Create a classroom where children feel safe, valued and motivated to learn.
• Support early literacy, numeracy and communication development.
• Use observations and assessments to monitor children's progress.
• Provide additional support to pupils with different learning needs.
• Work closely with support staff to maintain a positive classroom environment.
