Job summary

Faerch Group in the United Kingdom is seeking an Extrusion Operator to support the efficient operation of the extrusion production lines and to maximise equipment performance while maintaining compliance with operational, quality, health and safety, and hygiene standards.

You will work as part of the Extrusion Team, following the production plan, inspecting finished material, recording quality data in the Faerch QMS, and assisting with restocking and housekeeping on a 4 on 4 off, 12-hour shift

Qualifications

• Operate extrusion lines including vents, vacuum pumps, screen packs, dies, casting rolls safely and efficiently.
• Inspect products for deviations, visual defects, and non-conformities; escalate when needed.
• Maintain hygiene and housekeeping in the work area and around machines.

Responsibilities

• Routinely carry out quality checks to ensure products meet predefined specifications.
• Maintain accurate quality and production records and log details onto Faerch QMS.
• Restock consumables and materials to keep production running smoothly.
