Radis Community Care is seeking a dedicated Support Worker to join the Ditchburn Place team in Cambridge. The role involves a mix of morning and late shifts, with over 25 hours per week and occasional weekend work.

You will support elderly residents in maintaining independence, including mobility assistance and personal care, within an Extra Care environment. You will engage residents in social and recreational activities, promoting choice, dignity, and respect.

Qualifications

• Provide compassionate support to elderly individuals in Extra Care settings.
• Assist with activities of daily living including personal care and mobility.
• Engage residents in social and recreational activities to promote wellbeing.

Responsabilités

• Assist elderly individuals who are physically frail, helping them maintain independence.
• Support people with restricted mobility to dining areas, communal spaces, and their rooms on request.
• Assist with personal care tasks such as washing, hygiene, and dressing; support participation in activities.
