Job summary

Creative Support in Stockport is seeking enthusiastic Extra Care Support Workers to promote healthy living and independence for people in our care. You will work in a flexible rota covering evenings, weekends and bank holidays.

No prior care experience is required, and you must be eligible to work in the UK. The role offers full-time or part-time hours with rewarding duties in a supportive environment.

Job description

£13.45 per hour

Stockport, Greater Manchester

Full-Time, Part-Time

We are currently looking for enthusiastic, caring Support Workers to join our Extra Care team at Reddish in Stockport. You will work with the people we support to promote healthy living and independence. Previous experience within a care role is not an essential requirement for this role.

Extra Care Support Worker Duties

• Providing respectful personal care, practical and emotional support,
• Maximising social opportunities and community engagement,
• Maximising outcomes for clients by maintaining their independence and encouraging them to lead an active, fulfilling lifestyle
• Develop and sustain warm and trusting relationships with service users,
• Collaborating with colleagues, families and involved professionals to ensure a coordinated and consistent service.

Full time or part time hours (to be agreed), to be worked flexibly on a rota including evenings, weekends and bank holidays according to the needs of the service.
