Creative Support is seeking enthusiastic Extra Care Support Workers for the Reddish in Stockport area. You will promote healthy living and independence, with training provided even if you have no prior care experience.

Job description

£13.45 per hour

Stockport, Greater Manchester

Full-Time, Part-Time

We are currently looking for enthusiastic, caring Support Workers to join our Extra Care team at Reddish in Stockport.

You will work with the people we support to promote healthy living and independence. Previous experience within a care role is not an essential requirement for this role.

Extra Care Support Worker Duties

• Providing respectful personal care, practical and emotional support,
• Maximising social opportunities and community engagement,
• Maximising outcomes for clients by maintaining their independence and encouraging them to lead an active, fulfilling lifestyle
• Develop and sustain warm and trusting relationships with service users,
• Collaborating with colleagues, families and involved professionals to ensure a coordinated and consistent service.

No Previous Experience Needed

We provide all of your training as you begin your new career in care, including the opportunity to work towards earning your QCF Diploma in Health and Social Care. All employees have access to our training system where, through a combination of in person and e-learning courses, you can learn the skills required to develop in your role and progress toward senior roles.

Full time or part time hours (to be agreed), to be worked flexibly on a rota including evenings, weekends and bank holidays according to the needs of the service.
