Job summary

Creative Support in Stockton-on-Tees and Billingham is seeking a passionate Support Worker to join our services. You will help service users with mental health and learning disabilities, promoting independence and social inclusion in daily life activities.

No prior experience required – we provide comprehensive training toward a QCF Diploma in Health and Social Care. Join a welcoming, supportive team and contribute to a diverse, rewarding work environment.

This is a dynamic and growing service that offers a range of support packages to support our service users with mental health and learning disabilities.

As a Support Worker at our Stockton and Billingham services you will be supporting our service users, promoting independence, reducing isolation and encouraging mental and physical wellbeing. We aim to be flexible and responsive to our clients who have a range of different needs so no two days will ever be the same at this service!

Support Worker Duties

• You will provide person-centred care and support to clients to take part in all aspects of everyday life and to enjoy a wide range of activities,
• You will have skills in positive communication and engagement and will be able to demonstrate unconditional positive regard for the people we support,
• We are looking to recruit people who are confident when lone working.

We provide all of your training as you begin your new career in care, including the opportunity to work towards earning your QCF Diploma in Health and Social Care. All employees have access to our training system where, through a combination of in person and e-learning courses, you can learn the skills required to develop in your role and progress toward senior roles.
