We are seeking a warm, compassionate, and proactive Extra Care Coordinator to join our established team in Tower Hamlets. We are a local provider, employing a diverse team of over 150 well supported staff to deliver great services across the borough. You will be based in the vibrant, multi-cultural area of Limehouse, and will work alongside the Registered Manager, handling the operational management and quality of the service, which consists of 40 older aged clients, each living in their own flat.
You will collaborate with the Social Services and other stakeholders, including the Area Manager, to ensure the highest care standards are met whilst providing an empowering, person-centred model of support, which meets the needs of our clients, and works with their families and friends to promote a positive atmosphere. You must be willing to embrace all aspects of the role including, but not limited to, providing support with dignified personal care and domestic tasks, and supporting individuals to access work, education, and social opportunities.
We are seeking someone who is flexible, energetic, and reliable, with a person-centred and respectful approach, and the ability to work in an empathetic and holistic manner to maintain client orientation and independence. We value the personal skills and interests you will bring to the role and to the lives of the people we support, such as sports and outdoor pursuits, creative arts, music, and cooking.
A minimum of 2 years’ previous practitioner or management experience in providing care for older people and/or individuals with dementia & memory loss, is essential.

This is a full-time role, and you will work 3 days of management operation in our office, and 2 days of direct support shifts; please note, this division may be changed in future.
