Role: External Sales Manager

Location: Blackpool

Pay rate/Salary: Base Salary £35k to £45k + Bonus Available

Hours of Work: Monday – Friday

Type: Permanent – Office/Field based

Start Date: Immediately (flexible for notice periods)

My client is a leading Electrical Wholesaler, one of the largest in the UK, recruiting for an External Sales Manager in their Blackpool Branch.

The Role of Sales Manager:

• Growing and increasing sales in the branch’s geographical area.
• Identifying and developing new and existing business accounts.
• Developing strong customer relationships to maximize the potential of all accounts.
• Being resilient and proactive in face-to-face and telephone interactions.
• Working as part of a team to achieve high standards of business excellence.

Essential Sales Manager Skills:

• Electrical Wholesale experience
• Cold calling and proactive outreach skills
• Ability to approach companies directly and identify suitable targets
• Confidently demonstrate sample products face to face
• Ability to build and maintain professional relationships
• Strong planning, organization, and time management skills
• Smart appearance and professional demeanor
• A valid UK driving licence

Desirable Sales Manager Skills:

• Punctuality, reliability, and effective time management
• Career-driven, hardworking, and ambitious
• Strong telephone communication skills
