Job summary

Hayley Dexis is seeking an External Sales Executive for our Sheffield branch. You’ll be our full-time salesperson focusing on external sales and will travel across South Yorkshire and Northeast Derbyshire to grow our customer base.

You’ll handle existing customers while targeting new opportunities. Prior external sales experience, a can-do attitude, and strong communication are essential. We offer a company vehicle, competitive salary, and benefits.

Qualifications

• Engineering/manufacturing background is a plus.

We’re excited to offer a brilliant opportunity for an External Sales Executive working for our Sheffield Branch.

About the role:

You’ll be our full-time salesperson focusing on external sales. Expect to be out on the road across the South Yorkshire and Northeast Derbyshire geographies. You’ll be dealing with existing customers but really targeting new opportunities and new customers.
Our existing customer base is very diverse from engineering companies to food as well defence and steelworks.
You’ll have prior experience in sales ideally with some cross over to what we do i.e. engineering or manufacturing background.
You’ll be driven and excited to make that sale! If you are comfortable approaching customers, knocking on doors and thrive off making the smallest to the largest sales we want to hear from you!
Drive, enthusiasm, perseverance and persistence are the core of what we are looking for in this role and so we will consider a range of different experience levels.

What we’re looking for in our External Sales Executive:

• A good level of knowledge in the MRO space along with the products that we sell, although crossover experience will be considered.
• A high level of motivation and enthusiasm to drive sales.
• Good systems knowledge and IT skills
• Prior external sales experience.
• Confident communicator - not afraid to cold call cross industry.
• Thrive in a role where you are given a high level of autonomy and trusted to deliver and drive innovation.
• Strong interest in learning our product range / engineering
