Veolia is seeking an External Engagement Officer to design and deliver campaigns supporting local authorities in promoting recycling and waste minimisation in London.

You will create engaging digital content in multiple formats, lead on press for your area, and engage residents through events, door-knocking, and community activities.

This hybrid role covers South East London and Kings Cross, requires occasional evenings and weekends, and a full UK driving licence.

Qualifications

• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
• Experience using social media campaigns for public engagement.
• Content creation including filming and basic video editing.
• Attention to detail, planning and multi-tasking.
• Experience handling public complaints.

Responsabilités

• Design and deliver campaigns to support local authorities on recycling and waste minimisation.
• Create engaging digital content for social media and video formats to promote residents' engagement.
• Lead reactive and proactive press for the area and develop news stories.
• Coordinate face-to-face community engagement activities to achieve project goals.
• Respond to resident complaints on social media and identify target groups.
• Collaborate with the team to manage a varied workload.
• Be available for evenings and weekends and hold a full UK driving licence.
