Role: Export Sales Engineer – Marine – Bespoke Design & Built Marine Engines

Location: Southern England (Office Based) – Global coverage

Salary: Competitive basic salary with a 4% pension contribution

Role Overview:

Our client, a leading distributor across three diverse sectors, is seeking a high-caliber Export Sales Engineer to drive global growth of their bespoke marine engine solutions.

The primary focus is to promote sales of their custom-built engine range, mainly for the Defence sector. The successful candidate will collaborate closely with an International Sales Agent to develop sales pipelines, respond to enquiries, and provide tailored solutions to customers.

This role is based in the office, with monthly international travel for trade shows and engine demonstrations. The position reports to a Sales Engineering Manager.

Candidate Profile:

• Proven experience in export sales is essential.
• Experience or knowledge of selling engine or propulsion products is preferred. Candidates with strong technical backgrounds seeking a transition into sales will also be considered.
• Experience in Marine Defence markets is advantageous.
• Willingness to travel overseas approximately twice a month.
• Strong technical communication skills and the ability to engage confidently with customers.
