Job summary

The Best Connection West Bromwich is seeking an Export Sales Administrator to support our international client base. You will process orders, manage export documentation, liaise with customers, sales managers and transport companies to ensure timely communication.

This role requires experience with export processes, strong English and maths, and proficiency in Word, Excel, and Syspro. You will handle invoicing, dispatch, and compliance with country-specific customs requirements.

Qualifications

• Experience with export commercial documentation.
• Good level of English and Mathematics.
• Computer literacy with Word and Excel (intermediate or higher).
• Strong telephone manners and ability to build rapport with customers.
• Experience dealing with international customers.

Responsibilities

• Use Syspro to process orders, check inventory and answer customer queries.
• Be the point of contact with customers, international sales managers and transport companies for timely communication.
• Process and manage all orders from receipt to dispatch, including export shipment documentation and invoicing.
• Maintain compliance with export regulations and liaise with external bodies as needed for country-specific customs requirements.
• Coordinate with internal departments on product manufacture, dispatch and related issues.
• Respond to customer enquiries with International Sales Managers regarding stock, pricing and discounts; provide technical support where possible.
• Store shipment documents, including collection notes, customer orders and manifests.
• Update order despatch dates in Syspro and notify customers.
• Follow Company procedures for administrative tasks and take on additional duties as needed.
• Prioritize own workload and maintain health and safety.

The Best Connection West Bromwich are recruiting for an Export Sales Administrator on behalf of our renowned client in West Bromwich.

Hours of work:

Monday-Friday 08:30-16:30

Salary: £28,000-£30,000 (dependent on experience)

Job duties:

• Use computerised systems (currently Syspro) to process orders, check inventory and complete customer queries (including debits and credits).
• Be the point of contact with customers, international sales managers, and transport companies to ensure a timely communication flow between all parties.
• Process and manage all orders from receipt to dispatch, including check internal export shipment documentation, invoicing, and organising collections where applicable.
• Maintain strict compliance with export regulations including liaising with external bodies as necessary to satisfy Country specific Customs requirements.
• Liaise with all internal departments on issues relating to product manufacture, assembly, dispatch etc.
• Co-ordinate responses to customer enquiries with International Sales Managers relating to stock, pricing and discount and provide technical support where possible.
• Store all pertinent shipment documents, including. collection notes, Customer orders & manifests.
• Update order despatch dates on SYSPRO and notify customers.
• Follow Company Procedure regarding all administrative tasks on an on-going basis.
• Undertake any other reasonable duties as requested by your manager.
• Take reasonable care of your own health and safety and that of others who may be affected by their actions or omissions throughout the course of their business activities, acting in accordance with the Company's Health and Safety Policy and always setting a personal example.

Candidate requirements:

• Experience within export commercial documentation.
• Good level of English & Mathematics
• Computer literate - intermediate level or above in Word and Excel
• Good Telephone Manner
• Ability to build rapport with customers.
• Knowledge of customer service principles

• Ability to work on own initiative.
