Job summary

First Choice Staff in Tipton is looking for an Export Documentation & Shipping Coordinator to join a busy freight forwarding team. You will prepare and check Bills of Lading, shipping instructions and export paperwork, ensuring accuracy and punctual carrier deadlines.

Experience with CNS and Destin8 is advantageous. The role offers 26,500-35,000 GBP, with a monthly performance bonus and private healthcare after probation. Working Monday to Friday, 08:30-17:00, in Tipton.

Qualifications

• Experience with CNS and Destin8 is advantageous.
• Export documentation and shipping paperwork experience.

Responsibilities

• Prepare and raise Bills of Lading for ocean exports.
• Submit shipping instructions via internal systems and carrier portals.
• Check Bills of Lading and export documents for accuracy and process amendments.
• Submit VGM information via CNS and Destin8.
• Manage Bill of Lading approvals and arrange original documents for customers.
• Complete export documentation including Certificates of Origin, ATR and EUR1.
• Liaise with customers, suppliers and carriers to meet documentation requirements.
• Manage multiple shipments and ensure all deadlines and carrier cut-offs are met.
• Maintain accurate records using Word, Excel and Teams

We are recruiting for a Export Documentation & Shipping Coordinator to join a busy freight forwarding organisation based in Tipton.

Working within the documentation department, preparing and checking Bills of Lading, shipping instructions, VGM submissions and export documentation, while ensuring that all work is completed accurately and within strict carrier deadlines.
