Job summary

AIRBUS Defence and Space Limited in Portsmouth offers a 12‑month internship in Export Control. You will work with national and international laws, classify items for export, and support project teams from bid to licence applications.

The role provides exposure to a critical compliance programme and cross‑functional collaboration. Open to Undergraduates only, with a focus on Business, Project Management or Data Analytics.

Qualifications

• Undergraduates only for the whole placement duration.
• Degree focus in Business, Project Management or Data Analytics.
• Strong analytical and organisational abilities.
• Excellent written and verbal communication.

Responsibilities

• Engage with export control regulations and assess compliance risks.
• Classify export items and monitor restricted products.
• Support project teams from bid to licence applications and manufacturing.
• Help develop and maintain export control policies and training materials.
• Create SharePoint content and training materials for teams.
• Stay updated on regulatory changes and improve programme performance.
